Writing Tutoring

The Scholars’ Grove connects you with writing tutors who are trained in Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW) and Essentials in Writing (EIW). These programs have proven effective for a wide range of ages and abilities, including those who are gifted, have special needs/dysgraphia, or are English language learners. IEW or EIW will help your child move from “I don’t know what to write!” to using incremental steps that produce quality writing in both structure and style. We provide all learning program materials at no cost to you.

If you homeschool, tutors can also teach from a curriculum you have chosen.

Need homework help? Scholars’ Grove writing tutors are well-equipped to assist students in completing assignments.

Looking to raise your child’s writing skills up to grade level (and beyond)? Our tutors have the training and resources to provide engaging, multisensory lessons using research-backed methods.
