Writing Tutoring

The Scholars’ Grove connects you with writing tutors who are trained in Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW) and Writing A-Z. These programs have proven effective for a wide range of ages and abilities, including those who are gifted, have special needs/dysgraphia, or are English language learners. Both IEW and Writing A-Z help your child move from “I don’t know what to write!” to using incremental steps that produce quality writing in both structure and style.

Need homework help? Scholars’ Grove writing tutors are well-equipped to assist students in completing assignments.

Looking to raise your child’s writing skills up to grade level (and beyond)? Our tutors have the training and resources to provide engaging, multisensory lessons using research-backed methods.

Scholars’ Grove tutors:

• Completed at least 2 years of college education (most have bachelor’s degrees and/or teaching credentials)

• Have previous experience teaching or tutoring children

• Cleared a third-party background check

• Completed curricula training with our Education Specialist (who has over 25 years experience in education)

• Demonstrate enthusiasm and expertise in their subject specialities
