Assessment

An academic assessment to determine where your child is at currently, based on grade-level standards. Recommendations for which type of tutoring would be most effective and appropriate for your child will be provided. Testing is completed by a credentialed Teacher.

Screening

A screening will test your child in the area of suspected disability (math, reading, writing) to suggest whether the student may have a suspected disability.  A report and consultation will be included.  Screenings are typically completed in one testing session, and then a report and consultation is provided within 1-2 weeks.  Reports can be taken to school districts to provide valuable information. Screenings are completed by a Psychologist.

Full Evaluation*

A full evaluation (or IEE, Independent Educational Evaluation) includes assessment in all areas such as cognitive abilities, academic achievement, social/emotional health, and behavior. A full diagnosis is given. Full evaluations are typically completed in 3-4 sessions.  After the testing is completed, the report and consultation will be provided within 2-3 weeks. Evaluation is completed by a Psychologist.
