Math Tutoring
The Scholars’ Grove connects you with math tutors who are trained in one or more of the following programs: IXL, Math U See, Unlock Math, Zearn, and Shiller Math. These research-backed programs have proven effective for a wide range of levels and abilities, from generally struggling students to those with mild to moderate dyscalculia.
Often parents reach out to us for tutors to assist their child in completing math homework. We can help! Our math tutors love breaking down challenging concepts into easy-to-grasp steps to complete those assignments.
When your child doesn’t have homework, your Scholars’ Grove tutor will utilize one or more of the learning programs above to provide an engaging, multisensory lesson to fill in knowledge gaps revealed through built-in assessments.
Scholars’ Grove tutors:
Completed at least 2 years of college education (most have bachelor’s degrees and/or teaching credentials)
Have previous experience teaching or tutoring children
Cleared a third-party background check
Completed curricula training with our Education Specialist (who has over 25 years experience in education)
Demonstrate enthusiasm and expertise in their subject specialities

Premium Math Tutoring
Ideal for students with severe dyscalculia. Is your child several grades below in math? Do they fear going to math class and exhibit severe anxiety when trying to do math homework? Our specialized tutors utilize the Making Math Real methodology. Making Math Real has proven to be a game changer in developing mathematical skills.
Price: $90 - $150 a session. Sessions are 1 hour. Two sessions a week is recommended. Though this methodology requires a significant time and financial investment, Making Math Real yields remarkable results for those who greatly struggle in math.
